January 30, 2018 marked the 70th anniversary of the death of Mahatma Gandhi. The society commemorated this event with a public exhibition of books and posters related to the lives of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. King and Nelson Mandela on March 29, 2018 at the Columbus Metropolitan Library in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. Mrs. Madhu Kumari Singh, Ohio Civil Rights Commissioner delivered the Keynote Address. Senator Sherrod Brown, Congresswoman Joyce Beatty, Consul General of India Sandeep Chakravorty and many other dignitaries sent their congratulatory messages on this occasion.
